Curing Diabetes

 

Diabetes is a disorder which is responsible for affecting the way your body use the digested food. Digested food is converted into glucose and this glucose reaches the cells and provides energy and growth for a person. Insulin is a hormone which is responsible helps glucose reach the cells. If insulin is not present glucose cannot reach the cells. If glucose doesn’t reach cells there won’t be any supply of energy to that person. There are about 20 million United States people affected with diabetes. There are 2 common types of diabetes. They are Type 1 and Type2. Is there any cure for diabetes? The answer is No. Curing diabetes is not possible as of now. There is no 100% cure for diabetes. In Type 1 diabetes there is no insulin being generated so the person has to take insulin injections for his or her life time. In Type 2 the person has to take pills and have to maintain proper diet.

Generally, all doctors advice diabetes patients to exercise regularly. It is with the help of aerobic exercise diabetes can be kept under control. Aerobic exercise involves walking, cycling, swimming, jogging. Regular exercise is important for people with diabetes. It helps with blood sugar control, weight loss, and control blood pressure. People who want to cure diabetes undergo these operations. People with Type 1 diabetes undergo pancreas transplant. Pancreas is responsible for creating insulin. People who go for these transplants have to take powerful drugs for the rest of their life. This is not the safe method. There might be other complications developing after people take these strong dosages of drugs. Scientists are researching whether they can perform beta cell transplant. This is not yet successful. Although there is no cure people with diabetes can still continue to live normal life. They have to take insulin injections for the rest of the life and do regular exercise.

Now a days more and more kids are being affected with Type 2 diabetes. Natural way to cure or control diabetes is to follow a proper diet, exercise regularly, taking nutritional supplements. These supplements will protect your tissues which often get damaged from diabetes. Aerobic exercise helps to reduce blood sugar level, thus it is advised by doctors to diabetes patient to exercise regularly and to take proper diet with proper medication.
